There are various projects being run in Khayelitsha and some of these are visited and supported by Nomvuyo's Tours.

We always need assistance with community projects. Mdzananda Animal Clinic has been operating for 21 years and has lost a big international sponsor, but decided not to close as the animals in Khayelitsha need their services.

The 18 Gangster Museum is doing a great job of keeping youngsters away from a life of crime, as is the Makukhanye Theatre Project. Siki has opened a wonderful coffee shop and hosts open street parties which results in the community meeting visitors and having an outlet for their products.

The vegetable garden provides fresh produce to HIV positive people in the area, and we run our kindergarten with Gwen, the principal, also providing primary health care in her community so donations of any kind are always helpful. We can then purchase the necessary items. I am assisting the late Vicky's children with their educational needs.
